JDS Alumni Association, Bangladesh is an alliance for the Bangladeshi Citizen who has pursued Master degree from any Japanese University under the Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resources Development Scholarship (JDS) program. The Government of Bangladesh established the Scholarship program with the assistance of the Government of Japan in 2001. All JDS Fellows of Bangladesh are the members of the association.
We are conscious of the need for forging and fostering the bonds of friendship and amity that exist between the people of Bangladesh and Japan through academic knowledge, socio-cultural understanding and mutual appreciation of our age-old heritage.
We, the members of the association, are also dedicated to maintain decent and harmonious relationship among us. We like to express our ideas, views and arguments making it terse in magnitude, delicate in appearance and profound in understanding.
